Our investment process begins with a deep thematic approach, allowing us to identify opportunities arising from either market mispricing or long-term structural changes. We recognize that value and growth are often distinct, and we maintain the flexibility to pursue investments that reflect either characteristic, depending on the prevailing market conditions. Our bottom-up research focuses on identifying investments with either strong fundamentals misaligned with market sentiment (deep value) or those poised to benefit from broader mega themes and market transitions. This flexible approach allows us to target companies and/or assets that best fit our thematic framework, whether they are experiencing temporary distress or are positioned for long-term growth.

Portfolio construction & risk management

Our approach to portfolio construction is rooted in a high-conviction strategy, where we concentrate capital in our best ideas rather than diversifying broadly. We focus on investments with asymmetrical risk-reward characteristics, seeking opportunities that offer option-like payoffs. This allows us to target trades where the potential upside significantly outweighs the downside risk. While we utilize a range of quantitative and qualitative tools to assess both systemic and asset-specific risks, our focus remains on identifying those select opportunities with the most favorable risk-reward profiles. This disciplined approach enables us to balance risk and reward while aiming for superior performance across market cycles.

Investment Strategies

Real estate

In 2017, Dromeus ventured into the real estate investment sector, guided by its belief that Greece's improving macroeconomic conditions and sector-specific dynamics provided an opportune environment for targeted commercial real estate investments. Employing a thematic investment strategy, Dromeus strategically allocated resources to Greek real estate assets, spanning various risk levels, with a particular focus on opportunities within the office and logistics sectors. Presently, Dromeus operates a robust local investment platform, employing a team of 21 dedicated real estate professionals. The company owns and manages a diverse portfolio comprising 27 commercial real estate assets, with a Gross Asset Value surpassing €0.5 billion.

Digital infrastructure

Dromeus Capital Group focuses on identifying high-growth opportunities in the digital infrastructure sector, specifically in the data centre space. While Tier I markets such as Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Dublin (FLAP-D) have long been at the forefront of data centre development, these markets are increasingly saturated and face escalating costs and constraints

Special situations

The strategy invests across capital structures, geographies and asset classes in opportunities where substantial value can be unlocked. The strategy is value biased and often contrarian and aims to deliver superior, risk-adjusted returns by taking advantage of “situational” distress that can be uncovered in any economy, industry, sector or company. Dromeus’ thematic investment process may yield opportunities better suited to less liquid, special situation or private equity-like structures.

What personal data does the Firm collect and why?

In the course of providing products/services to you, the Firm may collect information that is considered personal information (e.g. name, contact details, address, passport number, driving licence).

As a client, contact or employee of Dromeus Capital Management (UK) Limited, we will require some personal information in order to verify your identity and have the applicable relationship with you. Some of this information may be required to satisfy legal obligations (e.g. to comply with obligations arising under the money laundering regulations whereas other information may be required in connection with the provision of services to you). The information collected will vary depending on the service the Firm provides to you or you provide to the Firm, but typically includes:

Where does the Firm store my personal data?

The Firm has comprehensive policies and procedures in place to ensure your personal data is kept sage and secure, with these including:

Data encryption;
Firewalls;
Intrusion detection;
24/7 physical protection of the facilities where your data is stored (i.e. Microsoft’s UK data centres);
Background checks for personnel that access physical facilities; and
Security procedures across all service operations.

How long does the Firm retain personal data?

As a regulated entity, the Firm is required to maintain its books and records for a prescribed period (five years from either the ceasing of a business relationship, or, in the case of non-clients, from the making of a record – or alternatively, for seven years, where specifically requested to do so by the Financial Conduct Authority). As such, information that falls in scope of either of these requirements is retained in line with the mandated timeframe.

Any information that is outside the scope of this requirement will be retained whilst relevant and useful, and destroyed where this ceases to be the case or where the data subject specifically requests this.

What are my rights?

Once you have provided your details to the Firm, you have certain rights which apply, depending on your relationship with the Firm, the information you have shared with us and the Firm’s legal and regulatory obligations.

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some, or all, of your personal information, please email the Firm at EMAIL. The Firm will provide this information to you within one month (with the ability to extend this by an additional two months where necessary), free of charge.
You have the right to request that the information the Firm holds about you is erased under certain circumstances including where there is no additional legal and/or regulatory requirement for the Firm to retain this information.
As a client, you have the right to request that any information the Firm holds about you be provided to another company in a commonly used and machine-readable format, otherwise known as ‘data portability’.
